Following feedback from coaches across our NHS NWLA Coaching Hub, our upcoming Coaching Refresher Sessions have been commissioned and tailored for all coaches regardless of experience or current activity to provide ongoing support for your coaching practice moving forward.

Programme Content

The main content of the workshop will be explored through theory and principles alongside individual and group work and with practice of coaching and reflection. This will include interactive clips used to illustrate key issues for effective coaching.

Within the practice sessions of coaching techniques and approaches, groups will be supported to explore what is working, what isn’t, why this is so and how coaches can adjust their approach to achieve positive outcomes with individual coachees.

Who Can Attend?

These sessions have been tailored to support coaches regardless of experience, to re-engage with core coaching skills and refresh their practice. Each session will work to establish shared understanding on the purpose of the day and delegates' approaches to coaching.

This will also include a focus on the use of supervision as a means of supporting the coach to reflect, engage in coaching and maintain their commitment to it.

The pandemic has exposed and amplified the huge inequalities that already existed. Thought provoking stuff from Sir Michael Marmot. We don’t want to return to the status quo - we need to build back better for our citizens - a wellbeing economy #CollaborativeNW
