Resumption of full activity
In January we took the difficult decision, based on feedback gathered from our members, of temporarily pausing non-essential activity. We recognised that the extraordinary challenges presented by COVID-19 were limiting leaders’ ability to commit time to their learning journey, and so focused our efforts on priority interventions that could be delivered as flexibly as possible. This also allowed our team to offer support out to the system where it was needed most; through this partial deployment we were proud to provide support for the mass vaccination programme throughout the North West.
The period of suspension was scheduled to come to an end this month, and we are happy to announce that we have now resumed full activity. We recognise that the challenges faced by our colleagues in the NHS are ongoing and will endeavour to reflect this in the content and flexibility of the membership offer.
As the health landscape continues to change rapidly, both in the face of COVID-19 and in the light of upcoming structural changes to ICSs and beyond, we are proud to play our role in ensuring leaders feel equipped and supported to navigate the changes. This will include the launch of our new System Leadership Development Centres and Healthy Leadership Behaviour Framework – for direct updates on these and all other upcoming offers, we recommend signing up for our monthly newsletter.
We would like to once again express our gratitude to our NHS people, who have continued to respond to this exceptionally challenging time with remarkable dedication and courage.
