Our role as a Local Leadership Academy
We are one of ten Local Leadership Academies (LLA) working to deliver the national NHS Leadership Academy’s services on a localised level. Local expertise means the network of LLAs is equipped to shape and influence leaders at every level across the country. By working as a tight network, our national and regional reach is greater. North West Learning and Development Collaborative
There has never been more imperative to transform the way we maximise the health of our population, promote self-care and transform pathways. The Five Year Forward View (5YFV) is clear that one size does not fit all; care models need to reflect the diversity of our population and their needs. We need to find innovative ways of maximising the resources across the system.
We are a member of the North West Learning and Development Collaborative which is a collective of support organisations who provide the health and care system access to innovation, improvement and leadership development. As well as ourselves, the collective includes Advancing Quality Alliance (AQuA), Innovation Agency, Health Innovation Manchester, Health Education England and North West Employers.
We are working with these bodies as a single North West Learning and Development Collaborative in order to streamline access and communicate our offers in a cohesive way that makes sense to our ‘customers’; in other words, we will aim to collaborate where it makes sense to do so and signpost to each other’s offers where it does not.
Working with other agencies
We have formed many key relationships across the North West and beyond, to align strategies with other agencies, to co-produce interventions preventing duplication of effort and making best use of public monies.
